I took some photos of Katrina yesterday. I need a lot of practice, and I'm very self critical, but overall, shooting these was fun. Katrina is lovely! This last week has been so hectic on many levels - new opportunities, experiences, realisations - it was great. Hopefully this week is exactly the same.

Today, I woke up super early, around 6 a.m., and I thought today I'd make use of my time. It failed drastically - but I managed to have a good day to myself. Breakfast was cool ~ egg, mushroom, baby rocket and OJ ~ decided to dress up (literally, wore a summer dress), took out the tripod and messed around with my camera for the shortest time, made a 'day' playlist, wrote and wrote and wrote, annoyed my mother, fixed the wheels on my skateboard (that I can't even ride like a normal human), cleaned out my closet, and painted my nails like 4 seperate times. Not the most productive day, but it was nice hahaha. The editing of these photos is very random, but I just kinda experimented with them, and they suited todays mood the most.

This playlist also included quite a few Odd Future songs since I'm seeing them this following Tuesday, and both of Toro Y Moi's albums due to the fact that his music stabilises my mood in the most incredible way.

I've been feeling way too unproductive lately. I feel like every time I'm not working, I should either have something planned for the day, or spontaneously leave the house. Today I woke up feeling like this, got ready, left the house, and walked up the road to the newsagent, picked up this months Oyster, and came home. So much for productive, but the next few days should be put to better use.

I also received my knock-off YSL ring that cost me about $3 on Ebay. Not as perfect as the real thing, but it'll do for now.

this past week has revolved around jason segel. he's in sydney at the moment, so we're pretty much going to extremes to try and meet him. so far, we've failed immensely. the muppets premiere is tomorrow though, so hopefully we get our chance then. he's pretty much the greatest.
